Professor Bruce Fegley, Jr. earned his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1980. Since coming to Washington University in St. Louis in 1991, he has taught a variety of courses, including Thermodynamics and Phase Equilibria, Biogeochemistry, Planetary Geochemistry, and Earth Systems Science. As the leader of the Planetary Chemistry Laboratory, he has been engaged in theoretical and experimental research in the fields of Planetary Geochemistry and Cosmochemistry.
